Paul Road to Next Bout Against Woodley

Jake Paul has opened up many eyes about the opportunities of defeating the UFC fighters.

The past victory has proven the true potential of the early professional boxer. Paul will face his second straight ex-UFC fighter. After Ben Askren, he would be on the same ring with Tyron Woodley in an exhibition match.

The bout will take place on August 29 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.

It seems that the first-round TKO has boosted the YouTube sensation to proceed to the next ex-fighter fight.

It does seem that Paul would aim for MMA Striking which is a much more distinctive challenge than boxing. Paul also stated a few things about his next opponent. Woodley was the best in the class. But that was not boxing. People would think of similar sports. But it is something else. Paul even compared boxing and MMA with swimming to basketball.

For most of the UFC fans, we think that it is sensible to think that these are two different things.

Paul has such great confidence to fight the upcoming opponent.

Paul dominated the first three opponents of his professional boxing career. Then he raises the bars by taking on Woodley.

Woodley is an ex-MMA champion and striking specialist who reigned from 2016 to 2019.

On Sunday, August 29, Paul will fight for the first time in front of his hometown Cleveland crowd in the eight-round cruiserweight main event, which will be contested at a catchweight of 190 pounds. Paul has a devoted following and many critics, and he will look to silence them in front of his hometown Cleveland crowd.

Paul and Woodley will face off in a press conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday to give fans a sneak peek at what is sure to be a thrilling confrontation.

On the SHOWTIME Sports YouTube account as well as on Jake Paul’s YouTube channel, you will be able to watch the news conference live. Most Valuable Promotions and SHOWTIME PPV are collaborating on the unique Sunday night event, which will be produced and presented by them.

There will also be the undercard high-stakes which include WBC/WBO Featherweight World Champion Amanda Serrano. She will put her titles on the line facing world champion Yamileth Mercado.

After winning over Askren, Paul marked his first victory over the professional fighter. Now, since it has raised the bars, he is confident to face even a bigger challenge in Woodley as his opponents. Will he make it? Guess we can just see the moment of truth later in the fight.
